ON THE OTHER SIDE: A DINNER PERFORMANCE
13 OCT - 7 PM
“On the Other Side” is a possible parade and parable of difference. From mouth to hands, from eyes to ears, we enhance the intricate before we disappear. We celebrate in this moment of community: a place where the separate becomes entangled.

Your ticket brings you to an evening experience at the beloved Portugalia Marketplace. There, you will eat food prepared by James Beard Award-nominated, Chef Robert Andreozzi, prepared in conversation with the non-linear visual works of Sonia Almeida and the somatic sharings of André E. Teodósio. You will taste wines from Brands of Portugal under Jacquard weavings that hang from high-up beams; poetry will be read with unexpected movement. A time to sit or meander, to be still or dance. Help us make a memory.

All proceeds for this dinner pay artists and our production team. We hope to see you there!
TROPICAL ANTHOLOGY: A DINNER PERFORMANCE with CAIQUE TIZZI
5 OCT - 7 PM
Hosted at Providence’s Courtland Club, guests will experience an evening of food, song, and poetry revolving around fruit, plants, spices, and edibles from tropical latitudes. Caique Tizzi is a Sao Paulo-born, Berlin-based artist/chef, whose approach to food and the kitchen is part studio, part laboratory, resulting in striking sculptural food installations, rich in color and texture. Tizzi brings narration and ritual to the table, lending theater to the ordinary act of eating together.

Your admission includes your meal, as well as welcome and closing beverages. Additional drinks will be available a la carte at the event. The dinner moves between indoor and outdoor spaces, and attendees may be seated communally.
