What, when and where is Fabric 2026?
FABRIC Arts Festival is a multidisciplinary festival bringing together contemporary art, music, performance, food-based practices, and public gatherings.
The 7th edition takes place October 8–11, 2026, across Fall River, New Bedford, and Providence.
Developed through artist residencies, commissions, and collaborations with regional partners, the festival unfolds across museums, galleries, cultural venues, restaurants, public spaces, and natural landscapes throughout the region.
Where can I find the full program?
The full program will be announced in early September and will be available here on our website under Program, as well as across our social media channels.
A printed festival guide will also be available throughout the festival at participating venues and partner locations.

How do I get around the festival?
Most festival venues are easily reached by car.
Fall River is served by the Southeastern Regional Transit Authority (SRTA) bus system, and the city is now connected to Boston via the MBTA South Coast Rail.
Providence is approximately 25 minutes from Fall River by car, and New Bedford is about 20 minutes away.
The closest airports are:

Boston Logan International Airport (Boston, MA)

Are there any age restrictions?
Most FABRIC events are open to all ages.
Some evening events, including selected parties or programs hosted in licensed venues, may be 21+. Age restrictions, when applicable, will be clearly indicated on each event page.
Minors should be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Do I need to purchase tickets?
It depends on the event.
Many activities are free and open to the public, while others require tickets due to limited capacity.
Tickets can be purchased through our website. We recommend booking in advance, as several events sell out quickly.
Are there any free events and activities?
Yes. A large part of FABRIC's program is free, including exhibitions, talks, walks, workshops, and several public events.
For ticketed events, we offer Pay What You Can pricing whenever possible, helping make the festival accessible to broader audiences. We also occasionally release complimentary tickets through our social media channels.

The artistic program for the current edition has already been finalized.
If you'd like to introduce your work or discuss a future collaboration, please email info@fabricfallriver.com. We typically review proposals between January and March for future editions.
We especially welcome proposals that engage with the festival's focus on contemporary artistic practices, collaboration, and transatlantic dialogue.
